This webinar will focus on electromagnetic field (EMF) assessment for users of active implanted medical devices (AIMDs), such as pacemakers. We will review relevant standards and manufacturer guidelines that address EMF risk assessment for AIMD users, highlighting key considerations for ensuring safety.

The session will also focus on how Wavecontrol instruments can be used to assess EMF exposure across the EMF spectrum for non-ionizing radiation, from static (DC) fields to low and high-frequency electromagnetic fields up to 90 GHz. Additionally, we will explore the use of WaveMon personal monitors as early warning devices that help AIMD users identify potentially hazardous EMF environments and take informed, proactive measures.
