Wavecontrol to launch WaveMon RF-60, personal monitor up to 60 GHz, at Mobile World Congress 2020

The WaveMon RF-60 will be launched at MWC 2020 Barcelona, which will take place from 24 to 27 February, at booth CS20.

This personal monitor alerts users to high frequency electromagnetic fields up to 60 GHz and is a key element in the safety of workers in telecommunication towers and other RF, energy and industrial infrastructure.

The WaveMon RF-60 has been created to increase user safety on the next generation of telecommunication systems, including 5G networks.

Among the new features it brings compared with the previous version, the WaveMon RF-60 is safer than ever by including new international limits for the general public and not only for workers.

In addition, the sensitivity of the alarm has increased. It can be adjusted to 10%, as opposed to the minimum 25% allowed until now.

This personal monitor can be tested at the Wavecontrol booth, number CS20 in the Congress Square Hall, at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona between 24 and 27 February.

The WaveMon family

The WaveMon personal monitors family has received several awards for innovation, design and safety (Delta Adi-FAD 2018, ARCoP 2019 and SICUR 2018), and has a number of features that make WaveMon a unique device in the market: GPS and altimeter for mapping log measurements, long battery life and a compact design that allows it to be lightweight and easily carried on the arm, belt or harness.

The WaveMon RF can trigger different alarms depending on whether they record instantaneous or average values and it is the isotropic RF Personal Monitor with the highest immunity in the market at 50/60 Hz.
