2025: Innovation and Commitment at Wavecontrol – Annual Review
What a year! And it’s all thanks to you.

As 2025 comes to an end, it’s time to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together. We wouldn’t be where we are without your trust and support. At Wavecontrol, we have stayed true to our mission: delivering reliable and high-quality products, valuable trainings and fast service to support our customers in their projects. Electromagnetic field (EMF) measurement has remained essential for ensuring safe environments and complying with international standards.
Before we jump into the new year, we’d like to share the key milestones that shaped this year and made 2025 unforgettable.
Technological Innovation: Professional EMF Solutions
Throughout 2025, we continued to enhance our EMF measurement equipment portfolio to offer greater accuracy and ease of use:
- SMP3: Our all-in-one portable meter, now with improved interface and advanced probe compatibility.
- MonitEM: Continuous monitoring systems inlcuding new models for for IoT and Smart City platforms.
- WaveMon: Personal exposimeters for workplace safety, featuring configurable alerts and historical data logging.
- Field Probes: WP10M, WP400, WPFxx, and WPHxx for reliable RF and LF measurements, plus the new WPF90, designed for frequencies up to 90 GHz—expanding capabilities for 5G and future technologies.
- New Frequency-Selective Measurement Solution (2026 launch): A major addition enabling detailed band and signal component analysis, including LTE and 5G NR. It combines spectral and code-selective measurements, EMF levels extrapolation, remote control, and compliance with international standards.
These innovations reflect our commitment to delivering increasingly comprehensive solutions. And they came alongside projects, publications, and recognitions worth highlighting.
Key News and Highlights in 2025
This year, our corporate blog featured articles and updates that showcase our dedication to innovation:

- Wireless Charging Systems: How to evaluate wireless charging devices with clear, reliable procedures—essential for environments where electrification demands precise control.
- EMF Monitoring in Smart Cities: Integrating EMF data into smart urban platforms to ensure transparency and trust. A practical perspective for projects aiming to combine technology and safety.
- EMF Safety for AIMD Users: Electromagnetic fields can disrupt medical implanted devices like pacemakers. Standards exist, but site-specific assessment is crucial. Wavecontrol provides calibrated tools to measure EMF, define safe zones, and provide early warnings to users.
- Recognition in International Standards: A case included in ITU-T K.Sup32 that illustrates how to perform EMF measurements using broadband equipment, like the SMP3, for new 5G base stations. A reference that validates methodologies aligned with global organizations.
- Automotive Testing Optimization: Tools that simplify measurements in dynamic environments, vital for validating electric vehicles and their electronics, ensuring EMF safety for the passengers.
- Reaching up to 90 GHz: Extending measurement range up to 90 GHz with the new WPF90 probe—ideal for 5G and emerging technologies.
- Regulatory Compliance in 5G Deployments: Practical recommendations for applying IEC 62232 in 5G measurements. An essential resource for projects seeking conformity and safety.
